Close to Oneroa, it had sea views, a lovely deck, a sleep-out for added privacy and even an extra small bed for the snorer. Everything was simple like a classic batch should be, but well-equipped. There is even a proper coffee machine! We would definitely recommend.

Quiet neighborhood on wide, quiet collector road. 10 minutes from the airport on the way out and close to the cross-city freeway (tried to stay out of Auckland traffic as much as possible).

This 3-star motel offers luggage storage space. The motel features family rooms. The staff was great from check in to check out; very friendly, polite and very helpful. They were always offered help to make our stay better and comfortable. We will definitely come back to this location

Sun Valley Motel is within 30 minutes’ drive of several local beaches. Auckland City Centre is a 1-hour drive away. The rooms are big and offer all you need for an overnight stay. The bed is big and everything is very clean. Yet there is a bit of a old smell from the carpet. The parking is right in front of your room, which is very handy. The self check in is supposed to work smoothly, but as we booked last moment we didn't get the code in time and had to wait for about half an hour in front to get a new code. They were nice and let us check out 30min later.
