Could not rate them highly enough. The food was absolutely exceptional. Not one bad meal. At the end, my wife and I tried to change our travel plans to stay another night because we had such a great experience.

We had such a relaxing stay at Winterton Country Lodge. The room was so thoughtfully and elegantly decorated and spotlessly clean. We appreciated the many extra blankets, the aircon & the electric blankets that kept us warm on the chilly nights. It was also lovely and quiet since the rooms are far off the road. There are generous common spaces and a large tv in the common lounge across from the bar that the owner said could be opened until 9pm. We also loved the freshly made breakfast. We’ll definitely be back the next time we come hiking in the Drakensberg!
