The property is set in a very beautiful land. You can walk to the lake and enjoy nature and peace in this quiet location. The rooms are spotless and very spacious with beautiful bathrooms with bath and shower. We also had a kitchen and complementary water. We had dinner there which was very good and set up in the field surrounded with fire. Would definitely recommend this property which is also perfect for families as the villa has 3 separate bedrooms and all bedrooms have their own bathroom.

Nice place with very good employers - always around to help, serve coffee or tea. Is not straight on main road but very close to center so not very busy at night.

We had amazing two nights at Richard‘s Cabanas. The place really feels like a little paradise. The room was clean and very spacious, breakfast and dinner were absolutely incredible and we always left with a full belly. We also booked our afternoon & full day safari through the accomodation, which we did not regret. The driver really respected how we wanted our safari to go (we wanted a more calm and not rushed safari experience). We saw a lot of animals and had a very special moment alone with a leopard as he was walking towards us. Definitely an unforgettable experience. We would definitely go back to Richard‘s Cabanas and spend some more time there. We would also not spend all our time on safari, but enjoy the beautiful surroundings and pool. Also we want to thank the owners for being so thoughtful and nice, and for giving us so many useful tips for our onward journey! :)

10/10 to the staff! He prepared the breakfast for us before 4:30! The curry sandwich saved us from the full day safari. You can feel there’s an animal party on the roof. The experience is unforgettable! It’s definitely worth a try!

Beautiful place, only 4 villas sharing a pool in nature. Our villa was so clean really big decorated with style, the outdoor bathroom alone was 30sqm and so zen. Really the photos dont do this place justice. The staff is also so nice whatever you ask no problem they are so lovely.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at Blue Wild, rooms are beautiful and very clean. Pool was sensational, with a beautiful outlook. Staff are very attentive. We also booked a safari through Blue Wild and I’m pleased we did, our guide Kumara was awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable, we were lucky to see 2 leopards (in the distance), elephants, the very rare bears, water buffalo, crocodiles, deer, monkeys and lots of birds - excellent experience!

Everything is fairly new. Large sitting area for chatting with friends. We went to Yala Safari with Udara, we liked that our crew did not rush, but captured the moments. Udara is attentive and sincere. Shares his knowledge about birds.
