We had a great time at the villa. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the location is convenient, with a great pool and jacuzzi. The owner is a very nice gentleman who warmly welcomed us and was available on call. He recommended places to visit and advised on the local amenities. The villa is also in pristine condition with air conditioning, and all the amenities. The hosts also arranged meals for us for an extra but reasonable cost and they were delicious. All in all 10/10 experience! Would visit once again!!

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Green Retreat Hideout. From the moment we arrived, it just felt right — quiet, spotless, and full of warmth. The place has this calm, homely feel that’s hard to come by, and it made us feel relaxed straight away. The standout? Definitely the privacy. It’s tucked away on its own bit of land, so there’s no one around — just you, the fresh air, and the peace. That sense of space made the whole experience feel extra special. You’re close enough to everything, but it still feels like your own little world. Every detail was spot on — from the comfy setup to the thoughtful touches that showed real care. You can tell it’s been put together with love, not just for looks but for actual comfort. Honestly, it was one of those rare places that actually feels better than the photos. We stayed at this house for 2 days while on holiday. It is conveniently located closer to Kottawa Town. The property is next to a paddy field in a peaceful relaxing environment. It also has air conditioned clean rooms, full kitchen, bathrooms, etc. There is lot of space for kids to play and and strolling on the paddy fields was an extra. Host communicated proactively via the web site and gave us a number to contact for getting the key. He met us at the arrival and gave us a tour of the house. Overall extremely satisfied and great place.

Staying in Villa Vakasa is like a dream come true! I have waited writing a review , cause I stayed in other places and hotels. But this place deserves a 12/12 . It is the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka by far. The whole house is designed with exquisite taste and the host provides you with everything you need from oats and milk and coffee to make your own coffee. It made a massive difference staying there after our arrival in Colombo to recharge and refuel. Beautiful diffusers we’re on to dispel the Moskitos and every room was designed with so much love, expensive high qualitative furniture, books, games, a sowing kit - nothing was to much to do and help was there immediately. I loved it abd highly recommend!! Thank you - Namaste 🙏🌷

Everything. It's nice and clean cozzy apartment equipped with all modern amenities. Host is really nice. Not far from city, but in a quite, high end neighborhood. It was a pleasant stay indeed.

At the time of our stay they were building a descent size pool. It would be nice once finished. Private and quite area. Acess to motorways to go down south or Kandy side was easy from nearest town of Piliyandala.
