The cottage was located in a picturesque setting with large adjoining grounds. It had everything you thought of and the stay was amazing. It was clean, well decorated and very beautiful. Lot of places you can sit around and balconies to enjoy the scenery and get fresh air. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children, everyone felt the same 🙂 It was easy to get around, quite close to Sjoholt where you will find supermarkets and cafe. Sjoholt also has a hidden gem close to the church. Easy access to Geiranger and Andalsnes, all around an hour's time.

Sven & Annette were the most friendly and hospitable hosts you can imagine! They gave us suggestions about the surroundings and nice scenic routes to drive. The house has everything you need and more. Nice view and outdoor space. Supermarket and pizza place are only a 2 minute drive.

Such a beautiful house with the most impressive view. The house is old with a lot of character. It was very clean and well presented and in such a fabulous location. We were visited by deer in the garden almost every day - so special.

We stayed for 2 days in this charming house and loved it! It is very clean, the beds are super comfortable. The host is welcoming and kind. It is also close to the Atlantic Ocean Road. We recommend booking if you’re looking for a peaceful stay in the area. You won’t be disappointed! PS: We loved the piano!!
