I recently stayed at this beautifully vacation home in Hönö, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Every detail has been carefully thought out, from the decor to the thoughtful provision of firewood for the fireplace. Waking up each morning to the stunning view of the bridge was definitely a highlight of my stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, always checking in to ensure everything was perfect. The house was spotlessly clean, and there truly isn't anything to criticize. This is by far the best vacation home I've ever stayed in! I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

This property is in an exceptional location on a tiny island with no cars. It has stunning views of the sea and other islands in the Gothenburg Archipelago. Easy to reach by inexpensive public transport from the centre of Gothenburg. It is compact but detached, so private, and is cleverly designed. It is impeccably presented in the Scandi style which suits the surroundings. Olof was a great host, with clear and helpful communication (in very good English) whenever needed for advice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Kalvsund and would recommend to all who seek a beautiful and peaceful island life.

Highest recommendation, a real dream of Sweden. Enjoy enchanting "Backstugan" and explore the beautiful surroundings of the Gothenburg archipelago with lots of options. Everything is just wonderful here. I felt so comfortable in this cosy oasis of well-being with great attention to detail, tastefully furnished, very well equipped, tip top clean, terrace with a beautiful view and comfy garden furniture. Backstugan, with car parking option in front of the main building, is located on one of the bays in Näset and other beautiful bathing spots nearby. Another highlight were the two sea kayaks. Whether with previous experience or not, Heidar prepared the kayaks and provided an introduction to safe handling.
